This too, will pass.
As I sit here with the sunlight pouring through the window, I cannot remember a time when I have seen and heard of so much grief, illness and upsets of friends since before Christmas, as well as having to deal with some issues of my own.
I have tried to deal with these matters in a spiritual way knowing that there is a far bigger plan than we can imagine from our limited perspective here on Earth. However, it can be difficult to be grounded and try to understand why we have to live through these difficult circumstances.
I do believe though, that as souls on this planet, we are here to learn and grow at soul level, so I try to see the lesson behind what is happening and what can be learned from the experience.
There are, of course, always choices to be made about how we choose to handle such hard times. For example, it is possible to forgive the person, if not the problem they have caused? If not, we can hand it over to the Universal Energy, God or whoever we perceive is the energy behind our world.
For example, I mentally write down the issue I am dealing with, and then visualise putting into the |Universe’s IN tray with Urgent written across the top of my memo!
It is also important to remember to ask for help from the spiritual realm. Although they watch over us, they will not do anything unless we ask first, as we have free will and they will not take action in our lives in any way unless we ask.
So, I am very grateful for the Spring sunshine, the daffodils, the cherry blossom and magnolia trees, primroses and bluebells showing us the wealth of beautiful colours with the message that there is renewal of life after the dark days of winter.
If we look hard enough, I think there will be always something that we can enjoy and be grateful for, whether it is a cup of coffee, a chat with a friend, the feeling of the sun on our skin or a kind gesture from a stranger.
So if you are having a turbulent time at present, I can empathise and I wish you well. As the quote at the top of this message says: ‘This too, will pass.’
